개인정보처리방침

해달(이하 "앱")은 멀리 떨어진 두 사람이 매일 같은 질문에 답하고, 둘 다 답해야 서로의 답을 볼 수 있게 하는 커플 앱입니다. 운영자는 앱을 제공하는 데 필요한 최소한의 개인정보만 처리하며, 이 방침은 무엇을 왜 수집하고 언제 삭제하는지 설명합니다.
1. 수집하는 개인정보

앱은 위치 정보, 연락처, 광고 식별자(IDFA·AAID)를 수집하지 않습니다. 미션 사진은 올리기 전에 촬영 위치 등 사진 속 부가정보(EXIF)를 지웁니다.
2. 이용 목적
- 회원 식별, 로그인, 커플 연결
- 질문 공개 시각 계산(두 사람의 시간대 기준)과 알림 발송
- 상호 공개: 두 사람이 모두 답한 뒤에만 서로의 답과 사진을 보여 주기
- 오류 수정, 서비스 개선을 위한 통계(개인을 알아볼 수 없는 형태로 분석)
- 신고 처리, 문의 응대, 부정 이용 방지
답과 사진은 연결된 상대에게만 보이며, 광고나 제3자 마케팅에 쓰지 않습니다. 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다.
3. 보유 기간과 삭제
- 계정 삭제(탈퇴): 앱에서 삭제하면 프로필, 푸시 토큰, 알림 설정, 내가 쓴 답, 내가 올린 사진이 즉시 삭제됩니다. 커플이 연결된 상태였다면 연결이 해제되고, 커플이 함께 쓰던 기록은 아래 연결 해제 규칙에 따라 삭제됩니다.
- 연결 해제: 해제하는 순간 두 사람 모두 커플 기록(질문, 답, 사진, 만남 날짜)을 볼 수 없게 되고, 30일 뒤 영구 삭제됩니다. 30일 안에 다른 사람과 새로 연결하면 그때 바로 삭제됩니다.
- 백업: 장애 복구용 백업에 삭제된 정보가 최대 7일 남아 있다가 자동으로 지워집니다.
- 운영 기록: 삭제·해제 처리 기록은 내용과 회원 식별 정보 없이 처리 시각과 건수만 남깁니다. 신고 처리 기록 등 법령에 따라 보관해야 하는 정보는 그 법령이 정한 기간 동안만 보관합니다.
삭제는 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 합니다. 앱 없이 삭제를 요청하는 방법은 계정 삭제 안내를 참고하세요.
4. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전
앱 운영을 위해 아래 업체에 개인정보 처리를 맡깁니다. 서비스를 쓰는 동안 네트워크를 통해 수시로 전송되며, 회원 탈퇴 또는 위탁 계약 종료 때까지 보관됩니다.

로그인할 때 Apple·카카오·Google은 각 회사의 방침에 따라 정보를 처리합니다. 국외 이전을 원하지 않으면 계정을 삭제해 중단할 수 있지만, 이 경우 앱을 이용할 수 없습니다.
5. 이용자의 권리
언제든 자신의 개인정보를 열람·정정·삭제하거나 처리 정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 이름·시간대·언어는 앱 설정에서 직접 바꿀 수 있고, 그 밖의 요청은 otterhalf.team@gmail.com로 보내 주세요. 본인 확인 후 지체 없이(늦어도 10일 안에) 처리합니다.
6. 이용 연령
앱은 만 18세 이상만 이용할 수 있으며, 가입할 때 연령을 확인합니다. 만 18세 미만의 정보가 수집된 사실을 알게 되면 즉시 삭제합니다.
7. 안전성 확보 조치
- 전송 구간 암호화(HTTPS)와 저장 데이터 접근 통제(행 단위 보안 정책으로 본인과 연결된 상대만 접근)
- 사진은 비공개 저장소에 두고, 짧게 만료되는 주소로만 보여 줌
- 관리자 권한 키는 서버에만 두고, 접근 기록 관리
8. 쿠키
앱과 이 웹사이트는 광고·추적용 쿠키를 쓰지 않습니다.

10. 방침 변경
이 방침이 바뀌면 시행 7일 전에 앱 공지 또는 이 페이지로 알립니다. 수집 항목이 늘어나는 등 중요한 변경은 30일 전에 알립니다.
Privacy Policy

Otter Half (the "App") is a couples app for people who live apart: you both answer the same question each day, and you see each other's answers only after both of you have answered. We process only the personal information needed to run the App. This policy explains what we collect, why, and when we delete it.
1. Information we collect

The App does not collect precise or approximate location, contacts, or advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID). Before a mission photo is uploaded, we remove its metadata (EXIF), including where it was taken.
2. How we use it
- To identify you, sign you in, and connect you with your partner
- To calculate when each day's question opens (based on both of your time zones) and to send notifications
- Mutual reveal: to show answers and photos to your partner only after you have both answered
- To fix bugs and improve the App using aggregated statistics
- To handle reports, answer support requests, and prevent abuse
Your answers and photos are visible only to the partner you are connected with. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Retention and deletion
- Deleting your account: When you delete your account in the App, your profile, push tokens, notification settings, your answers, and your photos are deleted immediately. If you were connected, the connection ends and shared couple records are deleted under the disconnect rule below.
- Disconnecting: As soon as a couple disconnects, neither person can see the shared records (questions, answers, photos, meeting dates), and they are permanently deleted after 30 days. If either person connects with someone new within those 30 days, the old records are deleted right away.
- Backups: Deleted data may remain in disaster-recovery backups for up to 7 days and is then removed automatically.
- Operational records: Records of deletions and disconnections keep only the time and counts, with no content and no account identifier. Records we must keep by law (such as report handling records) are kept only for the period the law requires.

4. Service providers and international transfers
We use the service providers below to run the App. Data is sent to them over the network while you use the App and kept until you delete your account or our contract with them ends.

When you sign in, Apple, Kakao, and Google process information under their own privacy policies. If you do not want your data transferred abroad, you can stop by deleting your account, but you will no longer be able to use the App.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop processing it, at any time. You can change your name, time zone, and language in Settings. For anything else, email otterhalf.team@gmail.com. We will verify your identity and respond without undue delay. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
6. Age requirement
You must be 18 or older to use the App, and we ask you to confirm your age at sign-up. The App is not directed to children, and if we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.
7. Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on stored data (row-level security so only you and your connected partner can read shared records)
- Photos are kept in private storage and shown only through short-lived links
- Administrative keys stay on the server, and access is logged
8. Cookies
The App and this website do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
